Spicin’ it up – Miami Style

Every year, Miami spices up its gastronomic offer by hosting a promotion of the most mouth-watering restaurants in the city.

This year, Miami Spice is taking place from August 1 to September 30 and the participating restaurants are located around the Greater Miami area: Beaches, Mainland South and Mainland North.

The promotion consists of a fixed menu that includes an appetizer, an entree and dessert! Lunch is available for $23 and dinner for $39.

I decided to try the Meat Market and boy, was it worth it!

Inviting bar right at the entrance of the restaurant…don’t mind if I do!

But let’s get to the food, shall we!? Here’s what I had:

Appetizer- Slow braised BBQ Shortrib Empanada with apple and blue cheese salad. To die for!

The salad was delicious!

Did I mention we had fresh, juicy, delicious oysters as well? Not part of the Miami Spice menu, but why not?!

Entree- 8 oz. petite filet steak with a mushroom truffle sauce.

Dessert- Lemon & Raspberries lemon curd, raspberry gel, fresh raspberries, coconut raspberry meringue. This was definitely the cherry on top!
